Visa & residence permit support - we are at your side
Moving to Italy also involves a series of administrative steps. We are a language school, not a law firm specialised in immigration, but every year we support students from all over the world in preparing the documentation required for the study visa and, once they have arrived, in the procedures to obtain the residence permit. The final decisions always rest with the competent authorities: the visa is issued by the Italian consulate in your country, while the residence permit falls under the responsibility of the Questura (immigration police office). Our role is to help you submit a complete, correct application that meets the requirements, so as to avoid delays caused by incomplete or non-compliant documents.
Do you need a study visa?
To apply for a visa you need to prove that you are enrolled in a language course in Italy. We prepare all the necessary documentation and guide you in gathering the other required documents. If your consulate also requires a language certificate (for example level B1), we explain which certificate is needed in your country and, if you wish, we can help you prepare online before you leave.
Before you depart - visa application support
Enrollment certificate
We prepare the official certificate on letterhead with all the information normally required: course duration, number of weekly hours, syllabus, confirmation of enrollment and payment receipt. We adapt the format to the requirements of the relevant consulate, which can vary from country to country.
Accommodation declaration
If proof of accommodation is among the requirements, we provide the relevant declaration when the accommodation is arranged through the school. We can also review documentation provided by landlords or other accommodation providers, if needed.
Course syllabus
We provide a detailed description of the study programme, including the lesson timetable during the period of stay. This is a document often required to demonstrate that the course has a continuous teaching structure.
Liaison with the consulate
In some cases the consulate asks the school directly for clarifications. When this happens, we respond by providing all the necessary information about the course and the documentation issued.
After you arrive in Italy
Residence permit
Students from non-EU countries must submit their application within eight days of arrival. We assist you in filling in the postal kit, preparing the required documents and booking the appointment at the Questura.
Codice fiscale
Essential for many everyday activities (renting a home, opening a bank account, signing a phone contract). We guide you through the request at the Agenzia delle Entrate.
Accommodation registration
When required by your visa type or rental contract, we assist you in registering your address with the relevant municipality (comune).
Healthcare
We help you understand which solution suits you best: registration with the National Health Service (SSN), private insurance or coverage from your home country. If you choose the SSN, we guide you through the registration procedure.
During your stay
Renewing your residence permit may require proof of regular course attendance. We monitor the attendance of students enrolled in long-term programmes and, when needed, we issue official certifications useful for the renewal application.

An important clarification
The issuing of the visa depends solely on the relevant Italian consulate, while the residence permit is assessed by the Questura.
