LONG-TERM COURSES · VISA ELIGIBLE
Long-term courses.
If Italy has stolen your heart, choose one of our long-term courses and immerse yourself in the language and culture day after day. Within a few months you will be the one correcting your Italian friends' use of the subjunctive.
If you start as a beginner and want to improve your Italian, simply begin with a four-month course to move from A1 to A2. To prepare for a vocational institute, the ideal is a programme of at least 6 months. If you want to enrol at university, follow a nine-month course: you will need a B2 level and the ability to communicate with ease. Our year-long courses, on the other hand, allow you to sit the CILS and CELI certification exams at the highest levels, both recognised worldwide, especially in the world of work.
Now it is up to you: whatever the course, you are free to choose the duration and to decide how to attend the lessons, in a group or by combining some hours of individual study. Do not worry if you do not know Italian well: every week there is a class at your level already under way.
Are you a non-EU student? All long-term courses (3-12 months) are study-visa eligible. The documentation and the post-arrival support are included in the price: all the details in Student visa for Italy and Visa and residence permit support.
The programme durations
4 months. Enough to move from A1 to A2: ideal as a starting programme for those who begin as beginners and want to improve quickly. 6 months. Perfect for preparing for an Italian vocational institute. A realistic progression for those who study seriously while aiming for a specific qualification. 9 months. For those aiming to enrol at university in Italy. You will need a B2 level and the ability to communicate with ease: a nine-month course gets you there. 12 months. A year-long course allows you to sit the CILS and CELI certification exams at the highest levels, both recognised worldwide, especially in the world of work.
Standard or Light, within a long-term programme?
Both long-term Standard and long-term Light are fully study-visa eligible: the consulate accepts both. Long-term Standard (20 classroom lessons a week, 12+ weeks) gives you the greatest number of hours in class and the fastest progression. Long-term Light is the right choice if in the meantime you are working, have a family or are renewing a residence permit and need a documented commitment without the full classroom load: same documented weekly total, lighter daily timetable, lower price.
Daily timetable
As for Standard and Light: one morning or afternoon block, Monday to Friday. The timetable is assigned at enrolment based on the level group and the availability of places.
Morning block. 9:00 - 10:30 · break · 10:45 - 12:15. Monday to Friday. Afternoon block. 14:00 - 15:30 · break · 15:45 - 17:15. Monday to Friday.
