Light. Group course, 2 classroom lessons + 2 guided study lessons a day.
Do you want to learn to speak, read, write and listen like an Italian? There is a class waiting just for you to begin.
We want your stay in Italy to be beautiful. By enrolling in our group course, we help you develop the four communicative skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) so that you can express yourself fluently using simple language. We have flexible study programs designed for every level: you can choose to follow a program of 20 lessons a week (Standard) or, if you have less time, just 10 classroom lessons (Light). Once you have decided on the program, we check your level with a test and place you in the most suitable group.
If you choose the LIGHT course: you will be guided by a teacher who will help you learn Italian quickly. Every four weeks you put yourself to the test with an exam to see whether you are ready to move up to the next level. With a course lasting 16 weeks or more you can apply for the visa for Italy.
How the format works
Lessons. Lessons run from Monday to Friday. Lessons are 45 minutes each and run in 90-minute blocks (two lessons back-to-back).
LIGHT study option: 2 classroom lessons a day (one 90-minute block) plus 2 tutor-guided independent study lessons on campus, following the teacher's plan: 4 lessons a day in total, 20 a week, 80 a month. One teacher. A single teacher follows you throughout the Light course. Standard students are followed by 2 teachers; Light students by 1. Classes. Each class is made up of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 students, all at your same language level. Currently active levels: from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2). Visa eligibility. With a course lasting 16 weeks or more, Light is study-visa eligible, the same threshold as Standard.
Daily timetable
Light students follow one 90-minute block a day, Monday to Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon. The timetable is assigned at enrollment based on the level group and the availability of places.
Morning Light group. 9:30 - 11:00 one block, 90 min

Prices 2027
The fees for the Light format. Prices are per student, inclusive of teaching, materials, individual study plan, level test and end-of-course certificate.

Beginner start dates 2027 (A1.1)
Absolute beginners enroll on these fixed cohort dates. From levels A2 to C2: continuous enrollment, every Monday, all year round.
Winter break. The last day of class in 2026 is Friday 18 December. Classes resume Monday 11 January 2027: there are no classes on Monday 4 January. The office is open from 4 January.

Who Light is for
Light is for you if you have a job, look after children, have a limited budget or want to combine your Italian lessons with other activities in Italy (an internship, art courses, exploring the city). Same group, same six levels, same recognition: half the daily time in class, lower cost. With a course of 16 weeks or more, Light is fully study-visa eligible.
If you want the greatest number of classroom lessons and the fastest progression, choose Standard (20 classroom lessons a week, two teachers).
