STUDENT VISA · AFTER ARRIVAL IN ITALY

After arrival - the Residence Permit, step by step.

If your stay in Italy exceeds 90 days, Italian law requires you to apply for a Residence Permit for Study Purposes (Permesso di Soggiorno per Motivi di Studio) within 8 working days of arrival. The procedure takes place at the Post Office (Poste Italiane) and the local Questura (immigration police). We support every long-term student during orientation week: you will not have to face Italian bureaucracy on your own.
